It baffled me how badly misplaced the love of the show's creators is. Also, dedicating a huge section of your finale to forcefully dragging the person whose supposed to be your second protagonist away from their bullshit so everyone can finally fight the villain? Bad writing on a fundamental level. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if Dipper teased her back or actually got what he wanted once in the while, but the fact that he doesn't takes away the lightheartedness they clearly intended Mabel to be seen with and just makes her seem like an unrelenting jerkass. Now, hate is a strong word, but you're pretty much right on all your points, and this was a character that they never stopped dropping the ball on for the entire show, and I agree that we kinda started getting into some weird emotional abuse territory near the end of the show. You're allowed to hate her with or without reason. I think she's smart and funny and has good intentions. I think the growth that we see in Mabel is that her kindness finally pays off. Pacifica and Robbie might not have joined the circle in the final episode if Mabel hadn't been painfully kind to them the entire season. Mabel and loved and fought for her family the whole time, as well as everyone else in Gravity Falls. Dipper was quick to turn on Stan (with good reason, he was being real suspicious), and the Stans didnt haveng gotten along since they were in school.

To the idiotically giving Blandin the rift: yeah. He didnt talk it out with her at all, and it was sprung on her days before they were supposed to leave. Also, shes allowed to be upset about his decision. I dont think you're giving his character enough credit. Have we ever seen her blackmail anyone in the show? But chalking that up to emotionally abusive is a lot, considering she is 12 and seems to have a pretty wholesome relationship with Dipper. The guilt tripping thing, yeah okay, that one tracks. I can see why you dont like her, but hate is a really strong word, especially when a lot of the points you have can be easily explained.
